Your Trip Itinerary

Day 1  – Welcome to Holland!

You’ll land at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam in the morning. You’ll be met at the airport and chauffeured to your  hotel Room Mate Aitana. You’ll be given a free city map and an UNLIMITED 5 day pubic transport pass upon your arrival. Enjoy welcome drinks at the hotel with your fellow guests. Breakfast is included each morning.

Room Mate Aitana is in the heart of Amsterdam in a strikingly designed all-glass building on the new city island at the IJ-river, right next to the Palace of Justice. Central Station is just minutes away and the hotel is close to Dam Square, the historic city center and all main tourist attractions and business center’s of the capital. The hotel has the best reviews, the most personal service in Amsterdam and the Jordaan and the Anne Frank house are practically around the corner.

Day 2  – Amsterdam

After breakfast, you’ll head to This Is Holland by metro or tram for their unique 5D Flight Experience. Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe! In the morning explore the city and visit one of the many museums and attractions including the RijksmuseumAnne Frank House and more. In the evening climb aboard a unique 75 minute Bitterballen en Frites Canal Cruise of the city. Then head back to the hotel for a comfortable night’s sleep.

Day 3  – Tulip Farm, Keukenhof & A Windmill Cruise

After breakfast, head to This Is Holland by metro or tram. Hop aboard a luxury bus presented by Hop On Hop Off Holland to an impressive tulip farm. Get a behind the scenes tour before making your way to Keukenhof – one of the world’s largest flower gardens featuring 7 million tulips in bloom. Have lunch at one of the may restaurants on site. After lunch you will board a boat for a traditional Windmill Cruise.  You’ll be taken back to the city by 6pm where you can explore and eat dinner.

Day 4  – Geithoorn and Tulip Fields

After breakfast, you’ll head to This Is Holland by metro or tram. At 10am you’ll hop aboard a luxury bus presented by Hop On Hop Off Holland to Giethoorn, the most beautiful and fairytale village in the Netherlands. Along the way you will pass the tulip fields filled with millions of rainbow blooms. At 6pm you’ll head back in Amsterdam for the evening.

Day 5  – Alkmaar Cheese Market, Zaanse Schans & Volendam

After breakfast, head to This Is Holland by metro or tram. At 10am you’ll hop aboard a luxury bus presented by Hop On Hop Off Holland to the Alkmaar Cheese Market – a famous seasonal spectacle filled with cheese and hauling cheese carriers. Next you’ll visit Zaanse Schans – a unique part of the Netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, barns and workshops. This includes a free cheese tasting and free entrance to a wooden shoe factory. Afterwards you’ll be transported to Volendam, famous for its colorful houses, quintessential Dutch architecture, and scenic harbor. Along the way you’ll see even more tulip fields! At 6pm you’ll head back in Amsterdam for the evening.

Day 6  – Paris

Head to Amsterdam Centraal and hop aboard the bullet train to Paris. On your 3-1/2 hour journey you can enjoy the sights of the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Once you arrive at the station, you will hop on a private transfer to Hotel Gramont to check in. In the afternoon you will take the Tootbus Paris Discovery Tour and visit the most popular tourist destinations including the Eiffel Tour, Arc De Triomphe, and Notre Dame. Have dinner in the city before heading back to your hotel.

Day 7  – Palace of Versaille & Louvre Museum

On your last full day you will visit two of the most popular destinations in Paris. First head to the Louvre Museum for a morning filled with fine art. After lunch hop on the RER C train to the impressive Palace of Versailles. You are free to dine wherever you like before heading back to the hotel for your last night in Europe.

Day 8  – Au Revoir!

After breakfast you will be picked up at your hotel and chauffeured to Charles du Gaulle airport for your journey home.
